DFW to Taipei Non-Stop is Coming
Plus, the WSJ covers the worst airport lounge in the USA👇🏼

Friends,
In the spring of 2017, I was asked to be a part of the new flight attendant uniform design team at United. While I ended up leaving the airline that summer, I’m really excited to see that the new uniforms are finally taking flight next month—nearly eight years later.
Last Saturday, my daughters and I caught the arrival of JL12 from Tokyo as we watched planes land at DFW. It was spectacular—and the girls were good sports to enjoy it, too.
I love aviation for many reasons—but maybe most substantially because of what it represents. What it shows us. The wonder of flight is spectacular. The impossibility of defying gravity has become effectively mundane in our world today.
But it’s not.
Flight is extraordinary. And as travel connects us—it transforms us.
This felt no less real to me as a flight attendant: I was just dwarfed by the scale of it all. By how many airplanes full of people are constantly in motion across our vast world—defying gravity, connecting, and therein transforming.
I hope you have the joy of traveling by air somewhere soon—and I hope you find it delightful.
Fly well.

Extraordinary podcast series on codependency; I am learning a great deal. And while this has nothing to do with #traveladventures, it is materially good.
