Welcome
Friends,
If you’ve been reading my writing over the past few days, you’ll notice I am in a fairly reflective place. Today, I am going to be brief and encourage you (and me!) to go slow to go fast.
Enjoy the journey and trust the God who is over the process—both the means and the outcome.
Especially when it is hard and you do not see the way.
414 words—let’s get going.

I really cannot overstate the Venture X card’s value. For our US-based readers, it is likely the best card available on the market today. I am sitting in the Capital One Landing at DCA writing this email and it is a legitimately good (airport) restaurant.
Great article by Travel + Leisure profiling Air France’s new first class seat.
I like to think that I am ‘often wrong but never in doubt’; today proved this to be true.
I landed at Dulles this morning expecting to be able to visit one of the airport’s (many) lounges before catching the Metro into DC. I was turned away from three before the kind people at the Air France lounge allowed my entry.
The problem was simply that I did not have an onward boarding pass from IAD; I was an arriving passenger and the rules have changed since I was last here.
The point is not to lament airport lounges nor their access policies, but instead to recognize it was good for me to be wrong, a little disappointed, and a touch embarrassed.
It is also good to know the rules and have the right expectations. And it is okay to be wrong and learn.
Failure is learning; I stand to accept that better in bigger ways in my life. And I am grateful to share it with you, here.
Big Picture: Sometimes, Air France saves the day—and it is okay to be wrong.
Happy flying.
Remember, this life you are living has meaning. Thank you for reading. I am grateful you are here and would love to hear from you. If you'd like to write me a note, simply reply to this email. Otherwise I'll see you in the next one.
Be well today. -Tommy

P.S. If I can ever help you plan your next travel adventure (slash help make your points go farther), I’d be delighted. You can schedule time together here.
